ガラスというものは、透明なものだと常にそういった在り方を強いられた現代の奴隷なのかもしれない。テクノロジーが進むにつれて、様々なガラスを用いた建築物が可能になった。しかしながら、時代が進むにつれて、ガラス本来のアイデンティティーは失われてきたように思われる。ナチュラルガラスの造形物の起源を辿ると、一世紀の古代ローマ時代に始まり、ギリシャ、アフリカなど様々な土地特有の色見や風格を持ち合わせていた。その様々な光の在り方が、人々の生活を導く不純物を含む自然なガラスの様相として存在し、光と共に人々が時間を過ごしてきた風景を想像できる。そのような、光とガラス、そして人々との自然で密接な関係は、時代が進むと共に、とても簡略化されてしまったように感じる。今一度、ガラスと人の佇まいの在り方、そして光との関係を見直し、自然、ガラス、そして光と住まう事の定義の原点に回帰する。

The idea of this proposal is to introduce a new way of seeing / using glass. Modern glass technology made people being capable of doing any design, however, has the use of the glass technology really made out life richer?It gets stronger and tougher yet it seems that a flexibility, the origin of using glass has been forgotten that how glass fitted in a life back in the 1st century andvduring the ancient ages.This idea is to remind the world that how people should build a good relationship with glass and the light in order to maximise a richness of our life by using glass
